When leadership confuses kindness with responsibility.

There are leaders who are proud to be "good people," accessible, empathic, pleasant and eye: that is not bad.

The problem begins when being kind becomes an excuse not to lead.

When, to avoid conflict, decisions are postponed, when not to be uncomfortable, what should no longer be tolerated is tolerated, when by wanting to fall well, what is damaging to the team is passed.

There kindness ceases to be virtue and becomes evasion, leadership is not to soften reality, it is take care of her..

Being responsible as a leader does not always feel good, sometimes it means saying what no one wants to hear, making decisions that do not generate immediate applause, putting limits where there was comfort and yes, that's uncomfortable, but it also orders, protects the team and builds the future.

I have seen organizations stalling not for lack of talent, but for leaders too worried about being loved and unwilling to be clear.

Because clarity takes care, ambiguity breaks out, and false harmony, sooner or later, goes by.

A good leader does not seek to be "nice." He seeks to be fair, honest and responsible, Although that means losing sympathy in the short term to gain credibility in the long term.

That is the leadership that transforms, the other only manages the wear.
